Pirelli have been in the news (the motorsport news anyway) a lot recently because of it’s tyres in f1.
A lot of people had their rear left tyres explode on them at the weekends British Grand Prix from Silverstone probably partly due to a sharp curb edge, but sort it out Pirelli.

There are a lot of nerds out there with too much time on their hands and a weird sense of humour. Here are a few Easter eggs on some sites that can be easily found.

You are probably aware of Westboro Baptist Church, it is the home of the religious nuts in America who use God as an excuse to be bigoted assholes and all round dicks. You have probably seen photos or videos of them protesting with boards or even seen ‘The Most Hated Family in America’ by Louis Theroux.
In a move of sheer genius, a non profit organization called Planting Peace bought a house directly across the street from the Westboro Baptist Church and painted it in the gay pride colours.
I remember seeing a trailer for Rubber a year or two ago and thinking it was some kind of joke. A serial killing tyre that makes peoples heads explode through the power of its mind, really, REALLY. But I’ve finally got around to watching it and it was kind of a fun film, not the best written or acted but the premise, look and feel make up for that.
It’s a weird film, not quite up there with David Lynch but strange and kind of transfixing. At the start there is an explanation as to why the movie has been made …”No Reason!”. I think this is a trick though and I’m sure there are a load of analogies to Hollywood throughout the film, I could be looking into it to much though.

Russell Brand has got a massive ego and not usually the kind of person I like, let alone enjoy listening to their comedy but Russell brand always hits a nerve with me. A good nerve, the one by the elbow maybe. Despite his ego he is an all round good guy and loves everyone else as much as himself.
On this show the hosts were trying to put him down saying they couldn’t understand him, talking like he wasn’t in the room and even calling him by a different name. Brand didn’t loose his cool or sink to their level. He rose above it and took over the show giving back more than he got in his usual flamboyant style. It’s a good watch.
